• Device and browser information for service optimization

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Analyze your communication patterns and generate your epistemic abilities profile
• Display your analysis results to you
• Improve our analysis algorithms and Service
• Send you important service-related communications, including updates about new features, changes to the Service, and information relevant to your use of Ability Explorer

We do NOT use your information to:

• Train artificial intelligence or machine learning models
• Sell or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising
• Send promotional messages on behalf of third parties
• Create advertising profiles

3. Communications from Us

By using the Service, you agree to receive transactional and service-related emails from us, including:

• Analysis results and account notifications

4. Gmail Data Handling

We want to be crystal clear about how we handle your Gmail data:

• Temporary Access Only: When you connect your Gmail, we access your sent emails temporarily and solely for the purpose of performing the communication analysis
• Immediate Deletion: All Gmail content (email text, metadata, and any associated data) is permanently deleted from our servers immediately after your analysis is complete. We do not store, retain, or archive your emails
• Results Only: The only information we retain is the results of the analysis—your epistemic abilities profile. This profile contains patterns and insights derived from your communication style, not the original email content
• No Human Review: Your emails are processed automatically. No employee or contractor reads your email content
• No Third-Party Sharing: Your Gmail data is never shared with, sold to, or accessed by any third party

5. Text Analysis Tool

When you paste text directly into our analysis tool:

• The text is processed to generate your communication patterns analysis
• Pasted text is not permanently stored after your session ends
• Only the resulting analysis may be retained if you create an account

6. Data Retention

• Gmail content: Deleted immediately after analysis (not retained)
• Pasted text: Deleted at the end of your session
• Analysis results: Retained while you maintain an account, deleted upon account deletion
• Account information: Retained until you request deletion

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL
• Secure cloud infrastructure with access controls
• Regular security assessments

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
